Linton Crockford-Moore is an award-winning creative director, brand strategist, and fashion entrepreneur with more than 25 years of leadership experience in luxury retail design, brand creation, and experiential retail environments across the UAE and internationally.
Throughout his career, Linton has developed transformative retail concepts and brand strategies across the luxury fashion, beauty, and lifestyle sectors. His work has contributed significantly to shaping the Middle East’s luxury retail landscape and advancing the region’s reputation for innovative retail environments.
As Group Creative Director of Chalhoub Group, Linton oversaw creative strategy and brand development across more than 370 luxury retail stores in 14 countries, working with a portfolio of over 280 international brands. Through this role, he led the design and creative direction of numerous flagship retail environments and brand experiences that helped position Dubai as a global hub for luxury retail and experiential shopping.
Creation and Leadership of Hubara Design
In addition to his corporate leadership roles, Linton is the leader and creative director of Hubara Design, a Made in Dubai fashion label created to celebrate and raise awareness of the natural beauty of the UAE desert ecosystem and the life that thrives within it.
Inspired by the rare Houbara Bustard bird, a species deeply connected to the cultural heritage and desert landscapes of the UAE, Hubara Design blends quiet luxury, natural materials, and desert-inspired colourways to create timeless desertwear that reflects the spirit of the region.
Through Hubara Design, Linton has sought to contribute to the growth of the UAE’s emerging fashion industry, supporting the vision of developing locally created, locally produced fashion brands that reflect the identity, landscape, and cultural narrative of the Emirates.
The brand is part of a broader mission to promote “Made in UAE” fashion, highlighting local creativity while also drawing international attention to the ecological and cultural significance of the UAE’s desert environment.
Under his leadership, Hubara Design continues to develop collections that combine sustainable inspiration, regional storytelling, and contemporary design, positioning the brand as both a creative and cultural initiative aligned with the UAE’s ambitions to grow its creative economy.

Creative Leadership in the UAE
During his tenure with Chalhoub Group, Linton led the development of several landmark retail concepts which have become internationally recognised retail destinations.
Major Retail Concepts Created
World’s largest luxury shoe department store (9,600 sqm).
10,000 sqm luxury children’s department store and international reference concept.
20,000 sqm experiential department store.
These projects created while with the Chalhoub Group helped redefine luxury retail experiences in the Middle East.
Fashion Brand Creation

In 2023, Linton created and built Hubara Design, a Dubai-based luxury fashion brand inspired by the natural beauty of the UAE desert and the symbolism of the Hubara bird.
